Occupation: deserter (person who leaves the armed forces without permission)

- Blake is a skilled fighter, as a result of being trained as a soldier to fight in a cruel war. But he deserted his role to join the rebellion (see his Story below). 

- Despite his intimidating appearance, Blake doesn't believe physical combat is the answer to their problems, but he will stand and fight to protect the ones he cares about.

- While he has solo-tough-guy energy, he likes to get cuddles and loves to be pet on his head. He might even purr!

Likes: freedom of speech, common sense, head pets

Dislikes: war, persuasion, power ranks (as these are often misused & taken advantage of)

Design notes:

- Blake is a cyborg; most of his body is covered with robotic parts, but he still has normal organs and can feel physical pain.

- 'Real' parts: inside of mouth, back of his neck, ears, upper arms, belly, start and tip of his tail.

- Blake has no weakness to water, but it can be a hassle to get all of his mechanical parts dry, especially if there is water between narrow openings.

STORY

Past:

Blake was trained as a soldier, but deserted his role as soon as he saw the chance, and joined the rebellion to stop the war he was forcefully a part of. Despite being the reason the war eventually came to an end, the rebels are still wanted for their 'crimes against their state'.

The rebellion split up and everyone went their separate ways. Some of them got a new identity to start with a clean slate somewhere else. Blake refused to do this -refused to hide an important part of himself- and therefore lives with any consequences that desicison might bring.

Present:

After years of fighting for their cause, Blake is tired of fighting and conflicts. He is now trying to live a peaceful life, for as far as his traumas let him.
