What is a Sapsidian?

What are Sapsidians? An unique species with pockets of space hidden behind their visors. These species are highly intelligent and have learned things as advanced as space travel.

Sapsidians, or Saps for short, are generally peaceful beings though they are also known for their unique fighting styles involving their hook and large claws.

Anatomy info

Sapsidians have visors on their faces that can open up to their own personal void pocket. These visors usually project eyes, but Saps can choose not to do so. There are also cases, like the Glass Visor, where the visor isn't a screen and therefore can't project anything.

Saps use this personal void to store all kinds of things, though the species is known for storing gemstones.

The space is roughly 12 x 12 x 12 ft (Like the size  of a small bedroom), though this can change from Sap to Sap. This space is hard to measure as most sentience lifeforms are too large to enter this space. The size of this space was roughly figured out by filling up the space with water, the idea came from Saps that produced water within their voids, so they knew it was a safe way to go about things.

Sapsidians also have large (retractable) claws and a hook that they can use.  These hooks have magical strings that allow them to act like grappling hooks! Making climbing and mining easier for them.

Universe

Sapsidians often travel and many live on different planets than where they are originally form. Their home planet is VailOre, which is somewhat like Earth. VailOre has many mining locations, though since Saps have mined their home planet for years, these places now have limited mining or closed for mining to allow for these places to refresh.

This is one of the many reasons Mining Saps travel to over worlds and work freelance for other species.

Sapsidians don't only visit planets with good mining for work, many don't mine at all and just want to travel after all. One of these planets is Petribank; an interesting planet with water filled caves. This might be because it's so different than where they come from, or maybe because the bright water caves are somewhat peaceful.
