Pooloons
General information
Weird creatures that walk on water and commonly live in caves filled with water. Their home planet is called Petribanks, a planet know for the many water caverns. Pooloons gather in these caverns as the cold, dark, and wet environment is perfect for them.
They use the water to create their arms and give them nutrients. Their furs is best suited for colder climents.
Their are capable of changing shape to assist in protection from those who hunt them. Turning their arms into spikes and blades are one way they do this.
Pooloons collect water to use through the bottom of their feet. Their legs are pipe-like to help pull up the water up so that it can be used. They don't have toes, instead their foot is flat with the hole for water intake. While the upper half of their leg can vary in size, the lower half is always a thin, straight pole.
About the water
Water is collected mainly through the holes on the bottom of feet. Each foot has one large hole, one of the reasons their legs are referred to as being pipe-like.
Water is untraited, just needs to be liquid. The liquid they take in can be anything, of any color, that they can take in by walking on it. They means changing the color and type of liquid can be done at anytime without resubmitting the design. (You can even submit a design without the water)
Though, large objects in the water make it hard to use their magic to form their arms, they also can't fit through their legs and might cause cogs. Only micro sized objects should be found in their waters as half of their legs are very thin.
The water they control and use as arms can be fairly useful, but they can only control the water that is connected to them. Once this connection is broken, the water/liquid loses all magic and falls as it's just normal once again.
Their Face
Pooloons have a face hole that their overflow of water leaves through. Water that has filtered through their bodies are safe to drink and they usually try to drop it back into other water pools. The shadowly hole that consumes their face can project a face much like Sapsidians do, though unlike Saps, they can also project mouths.
Because it's the inside of thier body, what you see through the holes is always darkness.
The hole should take up most of a Pooloon's face. Please don't make them too small.
